Guide Bore Reamers .500" Guides
Valve Guides on cast heads are most often replaced with new press in guides (bronze or cast). This job requires resizing the old bore to new industry standard .500" for a press in guides. Core Drill Reamer Combo drills are key to doing a one pass job, adding efficiency to your guide bore machining. We also have our traditional line of tools for this job! Bore out the cast iron guide bore with our "Piloted Core Drills" to .490", and finish with our Piloted Finished Reamer to .500". Core Drill Pilots are standard 5/16, 3/8, or 7/16. These can be used on a many different machines and setups to add flexibility to your tooling lineup!
